October 2020, the MICCAI conference was virtual this year and I had a once in a lifetime experience of chairing the opening session for the AE-CAI workshop at 5am, via zoom. Didn't bother wearing a jacket at home.	Boy was I wrong, this isn't a once in a lifetime experience. September 2021, MICCAI is virtual again and I'm chairing the AE-CAI workshop at 5:30am, via zoom. Don't know if I should laugh or cry, better to laugh.
May 2020, all graduations ceremonies were canceled, so we decorated the car and drove our son to school to return his textbooks, so long high-school. First year of college, all virtual	A year later, August 2021, fully vaccinated, all packed, and off to Eastman school of music.
